Types of Goldendoodles
- The F1 is the first generation of Goldendoodles. They are 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle.
- F1B are cross between an F1 and a Poodle. F1B are 75% poodle and 25% Golden Retriever.
- F2 is the result of breeding between two F1 Goldendoodles. They are 50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever.
- F2B: F1B Goldendoodles are the children of an F1 and a Poodle, whereas F2B Goldendoodles are the children of an F1 Goldendoodle and a first-generation Goldendoodle. This generation is 37.5% Golden Retriever and 62.5% Poodle.
- Multigen: Breeding from generations other than F2B produces multigens.

Goldendoodles are rather energetic dogs and need a space to frolic and play. For this reason, they are not going to be great apartment dogs, but they will be fantastic in a house with a fenced-in yard. They need roughly 30 minutes of play and exercise to keep fit and entertained.
